We are delighted to welcome you to Burgess Hill Dental. We hope you can find all of the information you need here on our website but we thought it would be helpful to provide some details about your first visit to us and how the practice operates.
Prior to your appointment, you will receive an email from us with instructions as to how to complete and submit your medical history form to us in advance.
There is very limited parking available immediately outside the practice but there are two public car parks nearby (McDonalds and Waitrose). Further information can be found here
You may park on the drive if you have a disabled badge.
Your dentist will do everything they can to make sure you are happy with the dental care they provide for you. We anticipate you should be here for about 30 to 40 minutes. At your first appointment your dentist will carefully examine your mouth and record their findings. They may also need to take some radiographs to get some additional information. Once they have all the necessary information, they will discuss with you any treatment that is needed and the options available to you. You may need to make further appointments with your dentist and/or one of our hygienists.
If you have made an appointment which you subsequently cannot keep, please give as much notice as possible so we can offer the appointment to another patient. If you give us less than two working days’ notice a charge will be made if we are unable to allocate another patient to fill the time.
Payment for a New Patient Consultation is taken in full at the time of booking. Free cosmetic consultations are secured with a deposit that will be refunded at the appointment. A full refund, or credit against a future appointment, will be given for appointments cancelled with at least two full working days’ notice. Payment will be non-refundable for non-attendance or for appointments cancelled with less than two full working days’ notice. Our cancellation policy applies as above.’
It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental care before any treatment is undertaken. For anything other than very routine treatment, written treatment plans will be provided. We ask our patients to pay for the treatment they receive at each visit. Our patients may also join Denplan Care or Essentials. Denplan allows patients to budget for their dental care with an affordable monthly payment. Please ask one of our reception team if you need any further information.
If you are a Denplan patient transferring from another practice, you can find further information here.
If you find that you have an urgent dental problem during normal surgery hours you should contact the practice and we will give advice and/or make arrangements for you to be seen as quickly as possible. During busy periods you may find your call transferred to an answerphone. Please leave us your details as requested and we will return your call as quickly as we can. If the emergency occurs when the practice is closed, you should call the practice telephone number for further details.
Just fill in your details on the form to the right and we'll get back to you shortly.
