Lucy NeshanGDC 244722 Dental Hygienist & Therapist
Once she completed her A-levels, Lucy decided to undertake dental nurse training at Birmingham Dental Hospital. Working at the hospital allowed her to gain experience every department to gain a good grounding in all aspects of dentistry and decided she wanted to be more hands-on by treating patients.
Lucy qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from the University of Sheffield in 2013 and then went on to complete a vocational training year in Birmingham where she received a certificate of excellence. Lucy is dedicated to helping patients improve their oral hygiene, tailoring her advice and gentle treatment to the needs and tolerances of each patient she meets.
As a dental therapist, she is also able to provide fillings on adults and children as well as extractions on primary teeth. She attends courses and lectures on a regular basis to keep up to date with the latest advances.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves going on long walks with her lovely Labrador Jess! She is also a big fan of dance and theatre.
Louisa SuttonGDC 265243 Dental Hygienist
Louisa qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist at Teesside University with a first class honours degree and was awarded Best Overall Student in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
Her philosophy as a Dental Hygienist is to provide patients with tailored treatment and advice, enabling patients to achieve effective oral hygiene routines at home and maintain optimum oral health. She is experienced in caring for patients who have complex gum conditions.
Louisa grew up and went to school in Sussex, and in her spare time is a keen horse rider, county hockey player and loves to bake.
Natalie ReadGDC 259882 Dental Hygienist
Natalie’s passion for dentistry started when she became a Dental Nurse in 2013.
She then went on to qualify as a Dental Hygienist at Eastman Dental Hospital, London in 2018.
Natalie is particularly enthusiastic about teaching patients’ techniques to improve their oral health. Treating nervous patients is one of the favourite parts of her job and she finds it exceptionally rewarding to help patients overcome their fears.
Outside of dentistry almost all of Natalie’s hobbies include food (apart from running)! She loves to cook, bake and try new restaurants.
Beth WattamGDC 284490 Dental Hygienist
Beth qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Cardiff University in 2019 and moved back to Sussex at the end of 2020, where she went on to join Burgess Hill Dental in 2022.
She is dedicated to helping patients, especially treating those who are nervous, overcome their fears and gain confidence in the dental setting. Building strong relationships with patients and promoting good oral health is one of the many aspects of dentistry that she is passionate about.
Beth grew up in Sussex, and her interests include hiking up the South Downs, spending time with her friends and family as well as cooking (especially eating) lots of delicious food!
