Meet our dental nurses

Joanne PearseGDC 134598 Dental Nurse
Joanne has lived in Burgess Hill all of her life apart from a brief stint in Hove in the 90’s. She went to Southway Primary and then Oakmeeds. She has been dental nursing full time since 1984, over 35 years! Joanne joined us in 2002. Joanne works with Henry and, as well as being our most experienced dental nurse, she is also brilliant at sorting out all our computer problems! Joanne is married to Vince. She enjoys gardening, cross stitch, collects anything connected with gorillas, exploring London, eating out and is also putting together her family tree. Joanne has a lovely Cavapoo called Ruby.

Sarah BryantGDC 116546 Dental Nurse
Sarah has been a dental nurse for over 20 years, with experience in general dentistry, orthodontics, implants, oral surgery and general anaesthetics and sedation. She joined us 2008, and now works with our hygiene team. Sarah is very good at putting people at ease, and helping encourage and motivate patients to find the best techniques, routines and tools to look after their gums and teeth. She has two wonderful children Jack and Jess. Outside of work Sarah enjoys socialising with friends and watching gory thrillers and tense drama on TV, and eating cake!

Katie KingGDC 110874 Dental Nurse
Katie has been a dental nurse since she left school at 16. Katie joined us in 2009. Katie now works with Sally and with  Jo, providing very specialist support for the more complex work they do. She loves meeting people and is always very bubbly and smiley! Katie has three children Ruby, Grace and George. In her spare time (which is limited!) she really enjoys horse riding and watching her husband Charlie compete in Banger racing. She is an accomplished dancer and also has recently started kick boxing!

Lucy LongGDC 246688 Dental Nurse
Lucy joined us in January 2012 as a trainee dental nurse having previously worked in Boots running their photo lab. She has quickly become an invaluable and popular member of our team. We are delighted Lucy passed her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in the summer of 2013. Lucy works with the ‘upstairs’ dentists Dickon and Sally. Since joining us Lucy has had a gorgeous daughter Tilly and son Barney. In her spare time Lucy enjoys yoga and running and is a fan of horror movies, The Walking Dead and Hollyoaks! She would like to travel more and would love to visit Jamaica.

Lucy CoxGDC 253674 Dental Nurse
Lucy was born and bought up in Sussex and has been working as a dental nurse since 2009. Lucy joined us in 2016 and provides chair side support for the hygienists and Dickon and Sally. Lucy has a lovely daughter called Imogen and she enjoys cooking and trips to London and the Theatre, particularly Matilda!

Jasmine GoddardTrainee Dental Nurse
Jasmine went to school at Millais in Horsham. She was nominated and awarded student of the year in 2016. On leaving school Jasmine went on to do a two year Beauty Therapy course and then worked as a beauty therapist in Sussex. In February 2018 she changed direction and began training to be a dental nurse. Jasmine joined us in November 2018 and has now started formal training to gain her Dental Nurse Qualifications. She works with David down stairs. She is very hard working and a delight to be around. In her spare time Jasmine enjoys experimenting with makeup and baking!

Olivia MoxhamTrainee Dental Nurse
Olivia went to school at Oakmeeds in Burgess Hill and then on to college in Haywards Heath to do A levels. After finishing education Olivia worked as a supervisor at the Orion Cinema in town. She joined us in January 2019 and has proved herself to be an exceptionally quick learner and very kind and caring. She is working in lots of places in the practice currently to give her a very broad experience and understanding of how the practice works.
