Joanne has lived in Burgess Hill all of her life apart from a brief stint in Hove in the 90’s. She went to Southway Primary and then Oakmeeds. She has been dental nursing full time since 1984, over 27 years! Joanne joined us in 2002. Joanne works with Rachael and, as well as being our most experienced dental nurse, she is also brilliant at sorting out all our computer problems!

Joanne is married to Vince. She enjoys gardening, cross stitch, collects anything connected with gorillas, exploring London, eating out and is also putting together her family tree.

Lisa trained at Guy’s Hospital in London and qualified as a dental nurse in 1986. She took some time out when she had her two children, Ellie and George, and joined us in 2002.

Lisa works with David and she has a real gift for making people feel relaxed and cared for.

Lisa loves shopping, fast cars, foreign holidays, especially New York and Egypt. She is a Dr Who addict (together with Jo) and Lisa loves all Sci Fi, especially Lost, Fringe and 24. Her favourite food is French and Lebanese, and music... well no contest there ... it has to be Robbie!

Sarah has been a dental nurse for over 17 years, with experience in general dentistry, orthodontics, implants, oral surgery and general anaesthetics and sedation. She joined us 2008, and now works with Esther. Sarah is very good at putting people at ease, and helping encourage and motivate patients to find the best techniques, routines and tools to look after their gums and teeth.

She has two wonderful children Jack and Jess. Outside of work Sarah enjoys socialising with friends and watching gory thrillers and tense drama on TV.

Katie has been a dental nurse since she left school at 16. She joined us in 2009. Katie works with Jo, Sally and Clare. She loves meeting people and is always very bubbly and smiley!

Katie has two small children Ruby and Grace, and in her spare time (which is limited!) she really enjoys horse riding and watching her partner Charlie compete in Banger racing.

Jenny joined us in November 2010 to work with Sally and Jo while Emma is on maternity leave. She has a degree in Animal Science and is currently working towards gaining her Dental Nursing Qualifications.

Jenny has spent time living and working in Vancouver which she loved, and is looking forward to returning this year for a holiday with her husband Josh. Josh and Jenny got married in September 2010 in Sussex.

Jenny is really enjoying working in dental practice and getting to know all our patients.

Outside of the surgery Jenny likes dancing, travelling, photography and socialising and in common with many other staff members has a serious Cadbury's chocolate addiction!
